AMPYR – COMMUNITY FUND PROGRAM

AMPYR Australia has launched the Northern Battery Community Fund, a $40,000 grants program to support community-led initiatives in and around Port Augusta.

AMPYR is committed to supporting programs that build capacity, connection and long-term sustainability across Port Augusta and surrounding communities. As part of this commitment, the Northern Battery Community Fund has been established to provide direct and meaningful investment back into the local area during the early stages of project development.

AMPYR will provide grants of up to $5,000 for eligible community organisations, including volunteer groups, schools, sporting clubs, First Nations organisations and local service providers. We will support community-led initiatives, events and projects that deliver positive and lasting benefits for the region. This may include activities that strengthen cultural connections, improve local facilities, support young people, enhance environmental outcomes or contribute to community wellbeing.

The Fund is designed to be flexible and accessible, enabling a wide range of organisations to apply, from volunteer groups and schools, to First Nations groups, sporting clubs and service providers.

Applications for the Community Benefit Fund close at 5pm on 9 January 2026.
