Music Innovation Fund

The Music Innovation Fund is part of the Music Education Strategy, launched in November 2018.

It aims to strengthen and expand the quality of music education across South Australian primary schools, preschools and ear childhood services.

The fund encourages innovative practices, partnerships and programs that will enable schools and preschools to establish, enhance and sustain quality music education. Quality music education supports and reinforces the development of literacy, language and other academic skills in children and young people. It is also a critical enable of social development and emotional well-being.

Round 4 applications are now open for Government schools and preschools, as well as music and creative industries and music organisations.

$280,000 is available in round 4 to facilitate new opportunities for children and young people to participate in music education.
