SACA is offering the opportunity for schools to each receive a grant to install a new cricket pitch (hard wicket) on one of its ovals or open spaces.

The Program provides the opportunity for a grant of up to $20,000 to fund a new cricket pitch at a school or open space.

The program intends to sustain and grow junior cricket participation whilst:

• Connecting schools, available ovals/spaces at these schools and cricket clubs needing a place to play on weeknights and weekends (out of school hours)
• Schools and Clubs develop community connections and a feeder for the clubs from these schools
• Create more ‘Places to Play’
• Partnerships formed between Clubs and Schools
