If you’re a winery or wine-related business offering innovative wine tourism experiences, you can now apply for the Best of Wine Tourism Awards.

Applications are now open for the awards, which can boost wineries or wine related businesses into the international spotlight.

Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development Tim Whetstone encouraged all South Australian wineries and wine-related businesses to apply.

“Now in their fourth year in South Australia, the Best of Wine Tourism Awards allow us to recognise and applaud those in the wine tourism industry who are truly excelling at what they do,” said Minister Whetstone.

“Our $2.15 billion wine industry continually reaches new heights with its innovative and premium wine tourism experiences.

“My message to any South Australian winery or wine related business with exceptional services is to put in an application – you could have a chance at global glory through the International Best of Wine Tourism Awards.”

The Awards are part of Adelaide’s membership of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network and applicants will be competing against entries from the nine other regions in the Great Wine Capitals Global Network.

Local winners will be announced at the international awards ceremony to be held in Bordeaux, France, later this year.
