This week, you may notice some large wind turbine components being delivered along Kirchner Road, as part of ongoing construction activity to replace a damaged turbine at Clements Gap Wind Farm.

Thursday 15 May - A convoy transporting two turbine blades is scheduled to pass by the Clements Gap BESS construction site at approximately 8:30 am.

Friday 16 May - A separate delivery of one blade, the nose cone, and other parts is expected at around 8:30 am.

Around Monday 19 May - The nacelle (the main body of the turbine) is also due to arrive, although this date is still being confirmed.

These deliveries will involve oversize loads and escort vehicles. Please take care if you’re travelling along Kirchner Road during these times.
