What an emotional day!
Just over a week ago, an incredible team of volunteers from the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) travelled 17,00kms to Jamestown in 27 trucks loaded with 1,500 bales of much-needed hay for drought affected farmers. More than 200 farmers attended, each receiving an allocation of this vital support.
The coordination behind this project was nothing short of extraordinary. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the RRT team, the drivers, and the Jamestown community for their generous hospitality, and the tireless efforts that made the day such a success.
This is an incredibly trying time for many, and these efforts truly go a long way in making a meaningful difference.
