This morning I had the pleasure of meeting with Lorena Markovic and Santiago Mompo from Potentia Energy at Parliament House, where they provided me with an update on two major renewable energy projects in our region:

✅Bungala Solar Farm - already providing over 100,000 South Australian homes with clean energy.
🔋Emeroo Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) - a game changing development that will store solar energy and help stabilise our grid, with construction expected to begin in 2026.

These projects are not only helping us transition to a cleaner energy future, but also creating local jobs and opportunities.

It's great to see Port Augusta and the Upper Spencer Gulf continuing to lead the way in renewable energy innovation!
