This morning, I had the privilege of attending the Remembrance Day Civic Observance Ceremony at the World War I Memorial Gates in Port Pirie.

It was a moving service that brought our community together to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served. From the heartfelt prayers and reflections to the solemn minute of silence, every moment reminded us of the importance of remembrance.

It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from residents, families, local schools, and community leaders, all united in paying tribute.

Thank you to the RSL Port Pirie, guest speakers, and everyone who contributed to such a respectful and meaningful ceremony.
