🎉 Celebrating 20 Years of the Laura Information Centre! 🎉
This morning I had the pleasure of joining the wonderful volunteers at the Laura Information Centre for their 20th birthday celebrations.
What an incredible milestone for a group that has done so much for tourism and the local community!
A few fun facts about the Centre:
✅ Opened on 14 November 2005 after a huge community effort.
✅ Started with walking tours, bus tours, and even one for horse riders! 🐎
✅ Over 128 volunteers have contributed since day one.
🌏Welcomed 74,098 visitors from all over Australia and the world.
✅ Supports local events, businesses, and showcases 39 talented consignors.
And yes… they sent me home with chocolate cake, which I may have enjoyed a little too enthusiastically in the car! 🍫😂 (Quick shirt change and back to business!!!!)
