Last Weekend, I had the privilege of attending the Sesquicentenary Celebration at Bundaleer Forest .🎉🌳
Over 400 people attended this fantastic event celebrating 150 years of forestry history and the strong community connection to this beautiful place. From guided history walks and live music to old-fashioned picnic games and displays of forestry artefacts, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, officially unveiled the 150th commemorative plaque, which was a wonderful tribute to Bundaleer’s proud heritage and the community that has nurtured it for 150 years.
A big thank you to the Bundaleer Forest Community Areas Association and Chairperson Greg Boston for their incredible effort in bringing this celebration to life! 👏🌳
