Over the weekend, we gathered at Peterborough Cemetery for a very special occasion, the unveiling of headstones for eight brave World War I servicemen from Peterborough who previously had no headstones.
A huge credit goes to the dedicated volunteers and The Headstone Project South Australia whose efforts made this possible, ensuring these soldiers are remembered with the dignity they deserve.
It was an honour to join Mayor Ruth Whittle, District Council of Peterborough, to unveil one of the headstones, paying tribute to those who gave so much for our country.
Lest We Forget 🌺
