✅ Great to be part of the Hallett Group Community Reference Group in Port Augusta last night!
It was fantastic to hear about their exciting future plans, especially the innovative use of renewable materials like fly ash from the power station and slag from the Port Pirie smelter as key ingredients for producing “green cement.”
This project is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2026 and will create 50–60 local jobs — a huge boost for our region and a great example of sustainable industry in action.
A big thank you to Hallett Group for inviting me along and congratulations on the incredible work you’re doing to drive a cleaner, greener future for South Australia! 🌱👏
