Just attended the official opening of the Heysen Trail Northern Trailhead in the beautiful Flinders Ranges near Blinman.
It was an absolute pleasure to acknowledge the passionate and dedicated volunteers, the Friends of Heysen Trail (FOHT), who have worked tirelessly to rejuvenate this trailhead, marking 35 years of service.
Big thanks to the Department of Environment and Water, as the official trail manager, for supporting this incredible initiative, along with the regional backing and funding from the Outback Communities Authority and Department of Transport, Port Augusta.
A truly remarkable effort that will benefit trail users for many years to come!
